Qualification : The minimum educational eligibility required for the post of clerks is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university of India. The applicants should have their mark sheets of the qualifying degree exam at the time of online registration so that they can fill their percentage of marks in the form. Those candidates who are well versed in the official language of the state concerned along with a good working knowledge in computer systems will be preferred for the post of Clerks.

Age Limit : The applicants must be having their ages not more than 28 years and not less than 20 years to participate in the CWE Clerks- IV.

Modes of Selection : There will be an online written test also referred to as CWE (Common Written Test) having two hours paper to be solved for 200 Marks. The major sections of the test shall be based on- Reasoning (40 Marks), English Language (40 Marks), Numerical Ability (40 Marks), General Awareness (with special reference to banking industry) 40 Marks and Computer Knowledge (40 Marks) respectively. There will be a penalty of one-fourth marks in case of wrong answers attempted by the applicants. Those applicants who qualify the exam on the basis of minimum cut off marks as decided by IBPS on the basis of TWSS (Total Weighted Standard Scores) will be considered for the second and final round of selections i.e. Interview. The total marks allotted to interview are 100. The applicants must appear for interview on the dates and venue specified by the Bank online along with all the important documents in support of their eligibility for verification.

Application Fee : The applicants must pay Rs 600 as the fee for application before the last date specified for this purpose in either of the modes- online/ offline. The reserved category of applicants (SC/ ST/ PWD/ EXSM) should pay only Rs 100 towards their applications.

How To Apply
The online registration window is expected to be made available at the website from 12th August 2014 to 1st September 2014 tentatively at ibps.in. Those interested to apply must have a valid email id for the common recruitment process. The candidates who have to pay their application fee offline should download a copy of challan from the website mentioned for this purpose. The candidates will find the links for online application at the home page of the IBPS’s website –“Click here to apply online for CWE- Clerks (CWE –Clerks- IV)”.
