1. Justice Mukul Mudgal on Monday submitted to the Supreme Court the final report of his investigation into the allegations of betting and spot fixing in the 2013 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
वर्ष 2013 में आयोजित इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) के पांचवें संस्करण में कथित तौर पर सट्टेबाजी और मैच फिक्सिंग से जुड़े मामले की जांच कर रही मुदगल समिति के प्रमुख न्यायमूर्ति मुकुल मुदगल ने सोमवार को अपनी अंतिम रिपोर्ट सर्वोच्च न्यायालय को सौंप दी।
2. AmrapurkarActor Sadashiv Amrapurkar died in a Mumbai hospital on Monday morning. He was 64. Amrapurkar had won two Filmfare awards. In 1984, he won the award for the best supporting actor for Ardh Satya and in 1991, the best villain trophy for his portrayal of a ruthless eunuch in Sadak.
बॉलीवुड अभिनेता सदाशिव अमरापुरकर का 64 साल की उम्र में आज निधन हो गया। वह फेफड़ों के संक्रमण से पीड़ित थे और उनका कोकिलाबेन धीरुभाई अंबानी अस्तपाल में इलाज चल रहा था। अमरापुरकर को दो बार फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार मिला था। 1984 में उन्हें ‘अर्धसत्य’ में सर्वश्रेष्ठ सहायक कलाकार की भूमिका के लिए पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया, जबकि 1991 में उन्हें ‘सड़क’ फिल्म के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ खलनायक का पुरस्कार मिला था।
3. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that military operations against terrorists would continue till their complete elimination, a media report said on Monday. Nawaz Sharif condemned Sunday’s Wagah suicide bombing.
पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री नवाज शरीफ ने कहा कि आतंकवादियों का पूरी तरह सफाया किए जाने तक ‘जर्ब-ए-अज्ब’ अभियान जारी रहेगा। कराची अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर आतंकवादी हमले के बाद सेना ने तालिबानी आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ ‘जर्ब-ए-अज्ब’ अभियान की शुरुआत की है।

Olympic soccer gold is the only major title Brazil have not won and with Rio de Janeiro hosting the Games the pressure is on – even with the tournament still almost two years away.

India and Nepal have finalised a new agreement to boost people to people contacts and promote tourism by planning bus services on three routes from Kathmandu and Pokhara to New Delhi and Varanasi later this month. The Motor Vehicle Agreement will be signed during the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Nepal during the 18th SAARC Summit which is taking place on November 25, according to Indian embassy sources.
भारत और नेपाल ने काठमांडो और पोखरा से नयी दिल्ली और वाराणसी के तीन मार्गों पर बस सेवा योजना के जरिए लोगों के बीच आपसी संवाद और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के मकसद से एक नये समझौते को अंतिम रूप दिया है। भारतीय दूतावास सूत्रों के मुताबिक, 25 नवंबर से शुरू होने वाले 18 वें दक्षेस सम्मेलन के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के आगामी नेपाल दौरे के दौरान मोटर वाहन समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाएंगे ।
6. The foundation stone of the country’s first ‘Shramodaya School’ for the children of labourers was laid by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The school at Mugalia Chaap village near the state capital will be developed on the lines of the Navodaya Vidyalaya. The medium of instruction in the school would be English.
नवोदय स्कूल की तर्ज पर श्रमिकों के बच्चों के लिए भोपाल के मुगालिया छाप में मध्यप्रदेश के पहले ‘श्रमोदय विद्यालय’ का शिलान्यास करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि 30 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से बनने वाला यह स्कूल देश का पहला स्कूल होगा, जो मजदूरों, श्रमिकों एवं गरीब किसानों के बच्चों के लिए उत्कृष्ट शिक्षा का केंद्र बनेगा।
7. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday launched the State Nutrition Mission and expressed confidence that the project would help end malnutrition among children and women as concerted efforts helped curb polio in the state.
मुख्यoमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने कहा है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में राज्य पोषण मिशन का क्रियान्वयन तेजी से किया जाएगा। कुपोषण को दूर करने के लिए सभी के सहयोग से लगातार प्रयास किए जाएंगे। राज्य पोषण मिशन की प्रगति की नियमित समीक्षा की जाएगी और इसके क्रियान्वयन के सम्बन्ध में यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो कठोर फैसले भी लिए जाएंगे।

The ‘World’s 100 Most In Demand Employers: 2014′ was based on billions of interactions from LinkedIn’s over 300 million members. No Indian company made it to the coveted list, however, a significant number of them do have their presence in the country.
गूगल विश्व की सबसे लोकप्रिय नियोक्ता है जिसके बाद दूसरे स्थान पर एप्पल और तीसरे पायदान पर यूनिलीवर है। यह बात पेशेवरों की नेटवर्किंग साइट लिंक्डइन की एक रपट में कही गई। लिंक्डइन ने अपने 30 करोड़ से अधिक सदस्यों के साथ हुई कई बार की बातचीत के आधार पर विश्व के 100 सबसे लोकप्रिय नियोक्ताओं की सूची (2014) तैयार की है। किसी भारतीय कंपनी को इस सूची में स्थान नहीं मिला है। सूची में अमेरिकी कंपनियों का दबदबा है और अमेरिका मुख्यालय वाली 63 कंपनियों का इसमें नाम है।
9. Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Shri Prakash Javadekar has said that the Government of India would be establishing a Centre of Zoo Sciences at New Delhi in due course for which the modalities were being worked out.

10. Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister, said that the government would institutionalise a regulatory authority with full powers to oversee all-round quality standards enforcement and consumer protection under the National Health Assurance Mission (NHAM).
केन्द्री य स्वाaस्थ्rय मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने कहा कि राष्ट्री य स्वा स्थ्ेय एश्योबरेन्स मिशन (एनएचएएम) के तहत सरकार समग्र गुणवत्तादपरक मानकों तथा उपभोक्तामओं की सुरक्षा पर नजर रखने के लिए एक विनियामक प्राधिकरण संस्था् बनाएगी, जिसके पास समस्त अधिकार होंगे।
