Age Limit: 20 to 27 years for both male and female candidates
Education: B.E / B.Tech. in any of the above disciplines are eligible to apply for Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. Candidates studying the final year of the engineering and who have completed their engineering are eligible to apply.

What is the selection process of Indian Army SSC Officers?
Indian Army head quarters shortlist the applications and call the qualified candidates Psychological test based on the marks obtained in graduation. Those who qualify successful in this test will be allowed to attend the remaining tests. A merit list is prepared after these test and the qualified candidates will have to undergo medical examination. The merit list will be displayed in Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
What is the Pay Scale of Short Service Commissioned Officer in Indian Army?
A candidate selected for Short Service Commission officer, after completion of training period will be granted Short Service Commission and posted as Lieutenant in pay scale Rs. 15600 to 39100 + GP 5400 + MSP Rs.6000.
How to apply for Indian Army 43rd SSC (T) Men and 14th SSC (Technical) Women Courses?
